I have been practicing psychotherapy for over twenty-five years. Trauma takes a toll on our mental health, our relationships, and our physical selves. I hope to reduce the effects of trauma on you and to limit its spread to future generations.

After a life spent in Central Florida, I am passionate about giving back to my community. I’ve conducted critical incident stress debriefings for the victims and survivors of natural disasters, violence, and loss as an EAP provider. Additionally, I served a non-profit outpatient facility in multiple roles before opening my private practice in 2001. I am a member of the Greater Orlando Trauma Recovery Network, and have served the community after such events as the murder of George Floyd and the Pulse Massacre.

I was originally trained in EMDR over fifteen years ago, but have since continued deepening my understanding with advanced trainings. I am now EMDRIA Certified, a Facilitator for both EMDR Basic and R-TEP/G-TEP trainings, and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant.

At home, I have three elderly dogs, two indoor cats, one outdoor cat that adopted me, and one not-my-chicken. Fair warning, I use Star Wars quotes and reference Marvel movies during sessions.
