By using TheJourneytoPeace.com (the "Website"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
Information only. This does not constitute a therapy relationship.
The Website provides general information about my practice. It is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, or a substitute for professional care. Visiting the Website, emailing me, or leaving a message does not create a therapist-client relationship. That relationship begins only after we agree to work together and you complete the required consent forms. Messages sent before then may not be confidential.
Emergencies
If you are in crisis or may be in danger, call or text 988 or call 911. I do not monitor the Website, email, or voicemail for emergencies.
Licensure and where I practice
I am licensed in Florida (SW5066) and Georgia (CSW008585). Information on the Website is not an offer to provide services in any place where I am not licensed to do so.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Website in any unlawful way or in a way that harms others
- try to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, or any connected systems
- introduce malware, scrape the Website at a volume that disrupts it, or interfere with its operation
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- submit information about another person without their permission
Intellectual property
The Website's text, logos, graphics, photographs, and design belong to me or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share links to the Website for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, or republish content without my written permission. Third-party names, logos, and badges (such as professional organizations) belong to their owners.
Third-party links and services
The Website links to services I do not control, including the client portal and outside sites. I am not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms.
Fees and insurance
Information about fees and insurance on the Website is general. Your responsibilities are explained in your client paperwork. Please confirm coverage with your insurance company. Good Faith Estimates are provided to self-pay and out-of-network clients as required by law.
No warranties
The Website is provided "as is" and "as available." I do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always current. Information may contain errors or become out of date.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or from reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including professional obligations that arise in a therapeutic relationship.
Changes
I may update the Website and these terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes about Website use will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, unless the law requires otherwise.
